1. Introduction

We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use this website and the S2T IPTV app ("App"), why, and what rights you have. S2T IPTV is a media player only and does not provide any playlists, channels or streams. We do not operate servers that store your personal data or playlist content. The German version (Datenschutzerklärung) is legally binding.

3. This Website

3.1. Hosting (Netlify)

Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (512 2nd Street, Suite 100, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit the website, Netlify automatically collects server log files, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and timestamp. This is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and stable website). Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF).

3.2. No Cookies, No Tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking services. Fonts and images (including the QR code) are served from our own host, so no data is sent to third parties such as Google.

3.3. Contact by Email

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to answer your request and delete them once it is resolved, unless we are legally required to keep them.

4. Data in the App

4.1. Local Storage Only

  • Playlists & Credentials: Server URLs, playlist links, usernames and passwords, as well as favorites, history, watch progress and settings, are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us.
  • Direct Connection: The App connects directly to your IPTV provider's server to load channels, EPG, images and streams. Your provider receives technically necessary data such as your IP address and credentials and is responsible for that processing. We do not proxy or intercept this traffic.
  • No Analytics: The App contains no analytics tools and does not send crash reports to us.
  • Trailers: Opening a trailer launches YouTube in the YouTube app or your browser, where Google's privacy policy applies.

4.2. Deleting Your Data

You can delete individual playlists in the App's settings. "Sign out" or "Sign out everywhere" removes all playlists with their favorites, history and settings from your device. Uninstalling the App also deletes all locally stored data.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

  • Data: IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and app information, the advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking in the iOS prompt), and ad interactions such as impressions and clicks.
  • Non-personalized ads: The App only requests non-personalized ads. Google still processes the data above to deliver ads, limit how often they appear, prevent fraud and measure performance.
  • Legal basis (GDPR): Your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), requested on first launch through Google's consent dialog (in the EEA and UK) and Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
  • Withdrawing consent: In the App under Settings > Ad privacy settings (where Google uses the consent dialog), for the advertising identifier in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and at any time by email.
  • Transfers to the USA: Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

6.1. EU/EEA Users (GDPR)

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), and to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7 (3)). Since we do not store App user data ourselves, most of your data stays on your device and under your control (see section 4.2).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). Ours is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

6.2. California Users (CCPA)
